Isaac Scott,   7th W Va Cavalry - Bugler

Isaac was born on the 25th of January, 1841 in Fayette County, Virginia to Richard and Rebecca Cooper Scott. He enlisted in the 8th {West} Virginia Infantry on July 27th, 1861 and was discharged from the 7th West Virginia Cavalry on August 1st, 1865.  Isaac Married Martha M. Carr on April 5th, 1865 in Kanawha County.  They settled on a large tract of land that straddles the Boone/ Kanawha border which his father bought in 1841.  Isaac died on July 7th, 1916 and was laid to rest in Scott Mountain Cemetery.
