Narrator:  Julia Osen Averill

Julia  is thrilled to be part of this  production.  She graduated with a BFA in musical theatre from The New School University in New York. Some of her New York credits include The Birds and The Bees: Unabridged and A Year With Frog and Toad, as well as a national commercial for Wendy's and various short films. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity to explore West Virginia and discover some of its rich history.

Brittani Grimmett

Brittani Grimmett is from Sandstone, WV.  She was also featured in the Averill Vision film, Passing Thru Sandstone.  Brittani has just graduated from high school and is continuing with her education.  Brittani plays Polly Tucker Starks, the girl who married Confederate soldier John (George?) Starks in the "unfortunate wedding" of the Salem Raid.  Brittani felt the part so intensely that she generated a real tear for our camera.
